Gandhi earnestly believed that a person involved in public service should lead a simple life. He first displayed this principle when he gave up wearing western-style clothing, which he associated with wealth and success. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar by and by doing the same. He is on the trip of VIKAS YATRA to reconcile the discrepancy of his government;nodoubt this is a wise step taken by him. A main reason that he gets Verdict in Bihar. He always worried about irreparable loss due to happened in the state by natural calamities. This is a factum,to raise the growth rate of women education in Bihar due to his best policy and concept. He always keeps close vigil in every circumstances; he is a veracious person like Mahatma Gandhi .He is doing the same experiments, which is already explained by Mahatma Gandhi thats why ;he is a YUGPURUSH.
Gandhi explains his philosophy and way of life in his autobiography ,The Story of My Experiments with Truth. He was quoted as saying:-A non-violent army acts unlike armed men, as well in times of peace as in times of disturbances. Theirs will be the duty of bringing warring communities together, carrying peace propaganda, engaging in activities that would bring and keep them in touch with every single person in their parish or division. Such an army should be ready to cope with any emergency, and in order to still the frenzy of mobs should risk their lives in numbers sufficient for that purpose. …Satyagraha (truth-force) brigades can be organized in every village and every block of buildings in the cities. [If the non-violent society is attacked from without] there are two ways open to non-violence. To yield possession, but non-cooperate with the aggressor…prefer death to submission. The second way would be non-violent resistance by the people who have been trained in the non-violent way…The unexpected spectacle of endless rows upon rows of men and women simply dying rather than surrender to the will of an aggressor must ultimately melt him and his soldiery…A nation or group which has made non-violence its final policy cannot be subjected to slavery even by the atom bomb…. The level of non-violence in that nation, if that even happily comes to pass, will naturally have risen so high as to command universal respect. BIHAR Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is a System himself and a good follower of Mahatma Gandhi.

जननायक कर्पूरी ठाकुर की यादें (डा0 निहोरा प्रसाद यादव) by Rahul Kumar Singh,Political Writer

प्रत्येक दिन जब वे पटना में रहते थे, सुबह साढे सात बजे मिलने जाया करता था। ठीक साढे सात बजे तैयार होकर जननायक कर्पूरी ठाकुर अपने सरकारी आवास के नीचे बरामदे पर लगे कुर्सी, बड़े से टेबुल, जो कहीं कटे, कहीं टूटे थे आकर बैठ जाते और गरीबों के हुजूम जिनके तन पर साफ़ कपड़े नहीं, कईयों के पैर में चप्पल नहीं आकर घेर लेते, अपना दुख़ड़ा, तकलीफ़ पीड़ा सुनाने लगते। उसी भीड़ में दल के कार्यकर्ता एवं उनसे मिलने वाले सहयोगी टेबुल के बगल में लगे बेंच पर बैठ जाते, समस्याओं से सम्बन्धित अधिकारियों, सरकार के मंत्रियों को दूरभाष के द्वारा या फ़िर पत्र के द्वारा न्याय देने का निवेदन किया करते थे। वे आने वाले लोगों का बड़े नम्र भाव से यह भी समझाते थे कि जब हम आपके यहां आने वाले हैं तो पैसा ख़र्च कर क्यो चले आये। वहीं आकर अपनी समस्याओं को बताते।
पटना में रहने पर देर रात भी उनसे मिलने जाया करते था। अपने आवास के उपर बरामदे में लगे चौकी पर लेटे रहते। माथे और शरीर दबाने वाले दबाते रहते थे। चौकी के सटे लकड़ी का टेबुल जिसपर बैठने का निर्देश मिलता, हाल चाल होता। अगले दिन के कार्यों के लिये भी निर्देश होता।
एक रात जब उनसे मिलकर चलने का आदेश लेना चाहा तो निर्देश हुआ कि छः बजे आ जायें। मुझे लगा सुबह कहीं कार्यक्रम में जाना है। चुंकि अक्सर मुझे अपने साथ ले जाया करते थे, इसलिये मैं भी तैयार होकर ठीक 6 बजे सुबह पहुंचकर जैसे ही मोटरसाईकिल बन्द कर ख़ड़ा करने लगा वैसे ही जननायक की आवाज, चलिये। अचरज भरे निगाह से देख़ा। दबे आवाज में मैने प्रश्न किया गाड़ी तो अभी आयी नहीं है, उन्होंने कहा कि आप के मोटर साइकिल से ही चलेंगे। यह सुनकर मैं हतप्रभ रह गया, मानों सारे शरीर का ख़ून ही जाम हो गया हो। थोड़ी देर के लिये शून्यता की स्थिति में चला गया, फ़िर उन्होंने आवाज दी- स्टार्ट करिये। बड़ी हिम्मत और साहस और अपने आप को नियंत्रित करते हुए मोटर साइकिल स्टार्ट किया। बैठने के क्रम में पीछे लगे कैरियर से उनके पैर छिल गये। मैंने अफ़सोस एवं दुख़ प्रकट किया लेकिन उन्होंने कहा मेरा कद छोटा है इसलिये ऐसा हुआ, चलिये कोई बात नहीं। बैठने के बाद दोनों हाथ मेरे कंधों पर, आदेश हुआ बेली रोड से चलने का।
उस समय अजीबो गरीब स्थिति में था जब सड़क से चलने वाले, पैदल हों या गाड़ी से हों, साइकिल से हो सभी लोग जननायक कर्पूरी ठाकुर को मोटर साइकिल से जाते देख़कर अविश्वसनीय नजरों से देख़ रहे थे। मानों विश्वास ही नही हो रहा था कि इतने बड़े राजनेता मोटर साइकिल से चले यह नहीं हो सकता। आपस में तर्क वितर्क, सही गलत होने लगी। कईयों ने उंगली से इशारा कर बताना चाहा कि देख़ें कर्पूरी ठाकुर मोटर साइकिल से जा रहे हैं। कईयों ने सर झुकाकर अभिवादन किया, कईयों ने हाथ उठाकर प्रणाम किया।
चलने के क्रम में ही उन्होंने बताया कि कई दिनों से विदेश के कुछ पत्रकार मुझसे मिलने आये हैं पर समय न रहने के कारण उन्हें प्रेसीडेंट होटल में ठहरने का आग्रह किया और उन्हें वादा किया था कि सुबह छः बजे मैं स्वयं होटल में ही आकर बात कर लूंगा।
जैसे ही होटल के पास मोटर साइकिल रुकी, जननायक को देख़कर लोग दौड़ने लगे, होटल के प्रबंधक एवं कर्मचारियों ने आकर अभिवादन किया। जब विदेशी पत्रकार को जानकारी मिली कि जननायक दिये गये समय पर आ गये वह भी मोटर साइकिल से तब अकस्मात उनके मुंह से निकल गया- “You are really a leader of down trodden people. We have not seen any leader as you in the entire world”।
अपने विशाल व्यक्तित्व एवं बड़े राजनेता होने का एहसास गरीबों के आवाज बनने में कभी और कहीं भी बाधक नहीं माना, यही कारण रहा कि गरीबों के आवाज को मजबूती प्रदान करने में साधन नहीं, अपने आपको साध्य मानकर आगे बढते गये। लक्ष्य तक पहुंचने में रास्ते चाहे जैसा हो इसकी परवाह नहीं की। न रात देख़ा न दूरी देख़ी, न साधन देख़ा न मुसीबतें देख़ी, निर्भिक होकर सीना फ़ैलाकर, पैर अड़ाकर लड़ने और संघर्ष से तनिक भी नहीं रुके। पूरी जिंदगी ही मानों गरीबों, असहायों, वंचितो के लिये गिरवी रख़ दी हो। ऐसे जन नेता को शत शत नमन।

Babu Veer Kunwar Singh (1777 – 1858)
Belonged to a Rajput royal house of Jagdhishpur, currently a part of Bhojpur district, Bihar,state, India. At the age of 80 years, during India’s First War of Independence (1857-58), he actively led a select band of armed soldiers against the troops under the command of the British Raj, and also recorded victories in many battles. In his last battle, fought on 23 April1858, near Jagdishpur, the troops under the control of the British Raj were completely routed. To honour his memory and his contribution to India’s freedom movement, the Republic of India issued a commemorative stamp on 23 rd April, 1966.
Kunwar Singh, zamindar of Jagdishpur near Ara in the state of Bihar, one of the leaders of the Indian rising of 1857. He assumed command of the soldiers who had revolted at Danapur on 5th July. Two days later he occupied Arrah, the district headquarter. Major Vincent Eyre relieved the town on 3rd August, defeated Kunwar Singh””s force and destroyed Jagdishpur. Kunwar Singh left his ancestral village and reached Lucknow in December 1857. In March 1858 he occupied Azamgarh. However, he had to leave the place soon. Pursued by Brigadier Douglas, he retreated towards his home in Bihar. On 23 April, Kunwar Singh had a victory near Jagdishpur over the force led by Captain Le Grand, 26 April1858 he died in his village. The mantle of the old chief now fell on his brother Amar Singh who, despite heavy odds, continued the struggle and for a considerable time ran a parallel government in the district of Shahabad. In October 1859 Amar Singh joined the rebel leaders in the Nepal Terai.

Bihar is going towards a social Revolution ,the Mahadalits attract by the system of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.Social revolution finished the treasure of vote bank of Mahadalit for previous leaders of Bihar as well as India.The Social revolution started by Jannayak Karpoori Tahkur vanished. He started to finish the poverty and the gap between the poor and the rich.Congress party proclaimed in 1971GARIBI HATAO seemed irrelevant perhaps it should be GARIBO KO HATAO.The Bihar Chief minister knew the truth and ready himself for a Mahadalit revolution in Bihar,just started a new fight of the finished work of Jannayak Karpoori Tahkur.The revolution came forward and the previous leader mum on this chapter.We cannot forget the efforts of Dr.Bhim Rao Ambedker.(As a leading Indian scholar, Ambedkar had been invited to testify before the Southborough Committee, which was preparing the Government of India Act 1919. At this hearing, Ambedkar argued for creating separate electorates and reservations for Dalits and other religious communities. In 1920, he began the publication of the weekly Mooknayak (Leader of the Silent) in Mumbai. Attaining popularity, Ambedkar used this journal to criticize orthodox Hindu politicians and a perceived reluctance of the Indian political community to fight caste discrimination. His speech at a Depressed Classes Conference in Kolhapur impressed the local state ruler Shahu IV, who shocked orthodox society by dining with Ambekdar. Ambedkar established a successful legal practice, and also organized the Bahishkrit Hitakarini Sabha to promote education and socio-economic uplifting of the depressed classes.
By 1927 Dr. Ambedkar decided to launch active movements against untouchables. He began with public movements and marches to open up and share public drinking water resources; also he began a struggle for the right to enter Hindu temples. He led a satyagraha in Mahad to fight for the right of the untouchable community to draw water from the main water tank of the town.
He was appointed to the Bombay Presidency Committee to work with the all-European Simon Commission in 1925. This commission had sparked great protests across India, and while its report was ignored by most Indians, Ambedkar himself wrote a separate set of recommendations for future constitutional reformers.
. Ambedkar’s political philosophy has given rise to a large number of Dalit political parties, publications and workers’ unions that remain active across India, especially in Maharashtra. His promotion of the Dalit Buddhist movement has rejuvenated interest in Buddhist philosophy in many parts of India. Mass conversion ceremonies have been organized by Dalit activists in modern times, emulating Ambedkar’s Nagpur ceremony of 1956.)

Bihar Towards Social Revolution….by Dr Nihora Prasad Yadav

On the occasion for starting plan of development of Mahadalit at Fulwarisariff.The women, men and the children were enjoying with a song “Mere Desh Ki Dharati Sona Ugle, Ugle Here Moti “ just waiting Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.The crowd of Mahadalit depicting the true story of the plan for development of Mahadalit started by the Bihar Government, it was showing the real devotion of Nitish Kumar for Mahadalit of Bihar. The speech for Mahadalit, backwards, and minorities commenced in the state as well as country but the mission was politics behind it.
The Congress party emerged in 1971,after announcing “Garibi Hatao“.The voter was Mahadalit ,minorities and uppercast but in the politics of Bihar there were one cast remain dominant .But the life style of the poor Mahadalit still unchanged.
After taking the charge of Bihar Jan Nayak Karpoori Thakur started the work for upliftment of the life style of the poor people of Bihar, but his efforts became effortless, he succeeded to keep social development by the force of social awareness .In the Bihar a action was working rapidly for exploit less society ,for the protection of Dalit rights . The result came out as the government of “Janta Dal “.The Mahadalit ,minorities was hopeful for his leader ,but the work became irrelevant and the life style of poor were unchanged . The force worked for the family not for the right of the poor people of Bihar. The criminal activities captured the society .The nobal person got fear and the criminal became fearless.
The exploration of new option started, but the people of Bihar working cousitiously. Ultimately people of Bihar elected Nitish Kumar for Bihar. The preservation of right of the poor people and Mahadalit and the planning of 21 SUTRI for development of poor, proved Nitish Kumar.
So many times the social awareness started, but the social revolution started first time by Nitish Kumar .The all of society supporting Nitish Kumar for his work. But the new social revolution is not digested by the politician .Their argument not watching the long-term social fight in Bihar. The politician always wants to seat under the tree, never planted new tree. This a thought of some leaders that the Dalit of Bihar is splitting, but they are not thinking for the right person they want to fill their own pocket only. They want their own benefit not the benefit of Mahadalit.
The social revolution finished the treasure of that politician ,who are played the dirty politics on behalf of Mahadalit and Dalit Sena in Bihar. The Bihar Government wants to pullout the poor and undesired people layer on the platform .Nitish Kumar given the award to Mahadalit and started the work that is social revolution in Bihar from the particular place Fulwarisariff.

The Chief Minister Nitiish Kumar announced the Government would also provide financial assistance to poor patients suffering from Cancer.

Roemer,who is on a two-days visit to Bihar,presented a gift hamper to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar , official sources said hear Friday,They said that the gift was presented by Roemer Thursday on behalf of US President Barack Obama.“The pack contained three books,including two authored by Obama -Dreams from my Father:A story of Race and Inheritance`and the The Audacity of Hope`,“the sources said.Roemer , who is the first American ambassador to visit Bihar in a decade ,said that he was exploring areas for investment in the state.
